Business lunch= 95% BS + 5% business.
League meeting= 95% BS + 4% spewing bullshit assumptions as fact + 1% trying to think of a good name.
Half of the future FF league yet to be named took the ferry to Bainbridge last night to drink and discuss serious league business. The commish tried very hard to impart knowledge but all I got out of it was I should study and I need to do some research and be vigilant about keeping up and yada yada yada. Yeah, just like I did in High School...except, oh wait.. I copied all my homework from my friends in High School. Don't think that will work this time. Shelly had a special story last night about not letting people plagiarize her work. I'll just have to rely on my special algorithm.
Drinks were good, food was good, (I only ate two sweet potatoe fries, what self restraint!) company was good. If I come in dead last the whole thing has already been worth it. Pride is very easy to swallow if you chase it with Sapphire and Tonic.

What, tonic's good with something? And you should take Josh & Shelly (if she'll go) out for sushi. Or not, cause Josh tried to kill me in an Asian restraunt in Seattle several years ago. It involved chili oil. He's evil.
Oh, and remember, think "Eagles first" when it comes to drafting! (If not, Steven Jackson of the Rams is going to have a pretty good year, and everyone who plays for the Colts will catch at least 2 TDs this year, including Tony Dungy.)
You give good tips but I know where your loyalty lies - Shelly and the Eagles.
I should take Josh and Shelly out to sushi. They're good people and I've been craving it. So are you saying I shouldn't take any trips to the restroom or take the chili oil with me?
Win or lose, meetings like this make FF a worthwhile endeavor. G&T or IPA, whatever it takes to swallow your pride.
