I'm obviously in a review mood.
Sue, Shelly and I went on an improptu lunch date yesterday.
Settled on Serious Pie after a series of coin eliminations.
Divine intervention.
Serious Pie is seriously good!
I was a bit leary since I've been burned by Tom Douglas restaurants before.
But this is about a flawless pizza experience as you could hope for. We had the chantrelle mushroom with truffle oil and the cherry bomb pepper and fennel sausage pies. It took less time to eat it than to decide what to get. Fucking good!
And, of course, all the wait staff are beautiful and the wine list short but immpecable.
Only negative: I'm going to be craving it all the time now and pizza is not on my good food/lose weight list!

Dammit. I was hoping for a new receipt with chocolate in it. Just another pizza place? Well, I've got a California Kitchen right down the way, and I've never heard about this thing you're talking about. Maybe I'll go when I finally get my butt back there.
